aradite epoxy, i can say with absolute certainty that you will break a steel tubing with a little stick before that stuff gives way on any part of an rc car.

RE: brand new junk!!!
That sucks, well, 14mm hexes and wheels suck to begin with. If I were you, I would opt for the money back and never by 14mm hexes/wheels ever again. I would possible ask for credit (if Pro-Line will do that) and ask them to apply it towards 23mm hex adaptors for your truck and 23mm beadlock wheels.
As for 14mm, they require a bit of work and modifications to be brought to par to take the power nitro engines and elctric motors produce today. Check out this thread in which I describe how to fortify 14mm hexes and wheels:
http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_47...tm.htm#4735086
Granted, the parts are HPI parts, but any equivalent size screws and other bits will suffice. As a matter of fact, I still have these 14mm hexes (the ones I modded) on one of my Basher Savages and they are still holding up to this day!

RE: brand new junk!!!
where did you get your "hardcore" stickers?
My Pro-Lines did the same thing...they make great tires, but i can't say the same about their rims.
And i know you like my wheels on mine ....i still haven't ran with them yet.

RE: brand new junk!!!
What about beadlocks?
http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXNWP7&P=7
I have a set of those (½" offset though). They're okay...a tad hard to figure out but...they're worthwhile.
I just spent $30+ to upgrade (though, it looks like downgrade now) my XLB to 14mm hex and...I'm getting ready to put a more powerful engine in it. Bad combo I guess -__-
Are 14mm hex really that bad?
