Are 2WD Buggy tires and 4WD tires the same?

Are 2WD Buggy tires and 4WD tires the same?
Well this guy is selling 2WD tires for buggies..
2.2 inch.. ITs just the tires and foam.. I dont see any reason this wont fit 4WD cars.. the tire tread patterns are the same and its not like one is "front tires" and one i s"back tires".
Any thoughts?
PS: The item is on ebay and the price isnt bad at all but please dont outbid me
I only want the onrad tires so if you want the offroad, lets work something out!

Do you have another car other than that mugen? Just asking because 2.2 rims will not work on an 1/8 scale buggy.
