I have a electric traxxas stampede that i can do wheelies with if i go in reverse first.I have the stock 20 turn stinger motor, and it will do it with the stock 18 tooth pinion, but if i really want to do wheelies i put on my 13 tooth pinion. 2 wheel drive will actually help your truck do wheelies because you dont have the extra weight up front that u have to get into the air, and, have you ever seen anything front wheel drive only do a wheelie?Front wheel drives wont do wheelies because the front wheels arent pushing the weight, they are just pulling it,and that will not let it do a wheelie unless it is a 4wd and the rear wheels are also pulling. It is fun doing them though.

Did you do the wheelie from a stand still or off of a jump?

I did one with my girlfrens Stadium Thunder (stock 20 turn motor, 18 tooth pinion). I did however have to put the thing in reverse then slam it forward. I imagine it would be quite easy to do with an electric truck, as my friends stock emaxx can pretty much do it all day.

My xxx-nt does wheelies if I tighten the slipper also. I am still running the stock mach .15. When the tires hook up and the slipper is tight it acts like it wants to flip all the way backwards. The steering sucks like this though, I have almost hit a few trees doing wheelies.

When i get a chameleon 2 pro,my pede should easily do wheelies from a stand start. The msc doesent help it any in doing wheelies though. My radio shack carnivore wheelies like crazy too.I think its basically the same as the monster patrol with a different body, but you do have to barely go in reverse first. Its 4wd too though, which just adds front end weight.

I so wanna do a wheelie with one of my cars. My nitro sedan did a wheelie once, I hit the side railing and the front wheels went up in the air and it held the wheelie for almost 40 feet. My 2 Team Losi electrics wont do a wheelie though. I got a XXT with a 2 speed tranny, and a 17 turn motor. Also a XXX with a P2k motor. None do a wheelie, they just spin the tires. How would i be able to make one of the eletrics do a wheelie?

Thanks,
Justin

One thing that would probably help your truck wheelie jbjustin, would be to maybe put some masher 2000s,or some imex g-hawgs,or claw dawgs.Maybe some street tires would help a lot too,if you ran it on the road.I think spiked tires would be kind of hard to make anything do a wheelie with though. You could also try to move the battery farther back too.
This picture is with the stinger motor, and 18/87 gearing(sorry for the quality):

My buddy did a Front Flip off of a curb with his HPI Savage, it flipped 1 1/2 times and landed right on the head, broke a couple fins off. Lesson: dont run your beautiful new nitro trucks with the body off!

cummins driver: I'll try some of those mashers and move the battery back an inch or so. I hope it works. LOL.

its very possible. I hit sticks with the monster pirate and it gives it enough momentum to flip onto its roof. It may not completely flip while in the air but it will flip over. I can get it to flip on command off a curb.
