RE: I keep going through glow plugs
Is this what I need? It's a head gasket for my engine. http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXGZB0&P=OW If not, how do I know which shims will work with my engine?

I'd get this - http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXGMM9&P=Z
It comes with 2 different thicknesses. I'd start by adding the thinest one. But check out what happened with it seizing up first before putting more money into that engine.

Well this is nice, took the engine out and tried removing the 4 screws in the head and 3 outta the 4 stripped out. This engine is pretty much junk now, burning plugs, leaking from the rear bushing, 3 stripped screws, needs head shims and doesnt run like it used to even with a 1 gollon old piston/sleeve. I would love to just get an os but I dont have that money after dropping over 200 into one of my other projects.

Took it apart after hacking/drilling the screws out and the piston/sleeve are junk. A piece of coil from one of the blow glowplugs frll into the engine and got caught in between the piston/sleeve. I dont have the money for something like this so I might must convert it to electric for a while if I can find a usable pinion.

Actually, no. closer inspection revealed that the spring clip holding in the pin going through the piston had fallen out and that was the wire that got jammed.
