Monster pirate question
Also about the monster pirate, what tuned pipe has the maximum torque, of all pipes? i dont care about speed i want rock crawling power. I also need really god low end throttle response, could i do this by using low % nitro, i also want to know what clutch bells will fit the stock monster pirate clutch, i know a few different ones will work but im not sure. Any help will be highly appreciated

From what I know heres what you can do.
I would go for 15% nitro 18% oil and ADD about 4-5 ounces of CASTOR oil to it to increase cooling. I would consider this to be important because without cooling your gonna have to riuchen it and lose power and thats not good!
I would get a relatively long manifold and I dont know about extreme low band pipes but the RB's 1351-63 is a low end pipe.
I'm sure there are others but I dont know enought to say "get this one!"
As for the clutch bell, I dont know what the pirate comes with but you might wanna drop down just one T (or 2).
In exchange for the info, you have to promise me to post a video of this thing toying with rocks like its nothing after your thru rebuilding it

Thanks for the info. I would post a video, but how do you get vcr tapes to computer? And also does anyone know if titan shocks will fit in mp without custom making any parts? i dont mind drilling holes or grinding, just need to know the length and eye hole size. These look like they have more travel than pirate shocks and i like the threaded preload setup.

What mods are done? Did you know if you take the rear shock plate, move it to the front, grind off the ears.....you can then put the rear shocks up front? The chassis will bottom out before the shocks will.

no major mods so far. I removed sway bars, put light shock oil in, and i got my motor running really good at low end. I want to get a new pipe, rear brake kit, and a new clutch bell. I think i will put rear shocks on the front, but the bottom arm hits the steering knuckle and limits downward travel. Im going to lok at it and see if i can grind it down right after i write this.

Ok cool that is what i was looking for. I wanted to upgrade to 8mm axles and bearings, but the kit is 80$ i also need a few screws that i lost, new diffs, and body mounts. A chassis is not much more, maybe cheaper, plus i get every spare part i need.
