4pack emaxx chassis
http://www.thercproshop.com/moreinfo...ack%20chassis.
WOW! Anybody ever seen this? I am like || close to ordering it right now.... But first questions, How would I wire the ESC for 4 battery packs, or would I need 2 ESCS, or is this for dual brushless motor systems? You guys see where I'm going with this? 2 hacker motors with 2 escs... both running off 2 packs.. What do you guys think of that? Costly yes, but how fast would that bugger go with all that power? I want serious input on this this looks extremely tempting...

Hey dude
I assume its going to be set up like this:
2 packs connected in parallel through each ESC going to one of two motors right?.
So essentially its down to Extra runtime (more current) vs excess weight correct?!
Wouldnt you rather have 4 packs on a 2 cell chassis and switch em out instead of lugging all 4 around on a heavier chassis that costs an extra 125 bucks?!

your acting as if the chassis is extremely heavy. The difference wouldnt be noticable. Specially if your adding 4 packs anyways. But the thing I'm wondering is, 1 brushless hacker motor with 14.4 volt goes 40+ mph for 8 minutes, how long and how fast would 2 of those go, yes there would be added weight, but alot of added power also.
edit: anyways this chassis is cheaper than the Hardcore or the Monstermaxx chassis

Not just the chassis but the weight of the batteries too.
But.. Now that you mentioned the 14V motor.. everything changes!!!
Then your puttin em in series.. that makes sense!

I think my $$$ jus found a new project instead of making the chassis look good... What do you think buggy? So you think this would actually work? Id probably ahve to add a plate somewhere or find somewhere to mount both the ESCs... I might go to an Emaxx forum and discuss this idea with some of them. All I know is it'd cost 800$ to get 2 brushless motors and 2 ESCs for them.. lol then 125 for the chassis.

Well was talking about it on the RCCA boards and some guy said the chassis is way heavy.. he then showed me a site that produces a lexan chassis that slonger than all other chassis, and F'in strong (videos that prove it and such) they shot the thing with a 9mm and it didnt even dent/crack/chip the thing --x. He siad I'll need a longer chassis for the dual because 1 is almost to much for him on the short chassis... I dont know, guess i have to do some reading.. this chassis is cheaper tho haha ;D
