help me identify this truck???
my fiancee's father gave me this truck a few years ago. from what i know its a kyosho or atleast the bumper and tires say so. the tires also read 66/43x25. it used to be raced and was pretty good from what i hear. the truck ran when i first got it for about 10 mins until the motor seized up. the truck hadnt been run it 10-15 years her dad doesnt remember. i would like to get it running for him b/c he gave me a brand new tmaxx which got me addicted to the hobby. so id like to do this for him. i have a tq3 reciever for it that idont use anymore and 2 servos that i could use. its about as big as my tmaxx

RE: help me identify this truck???
I'm pretty sure it's a Kyosho USA1 Nitro Crusher. That's just telling from the shocks and the tires.
Good luck.
PS.
I finally found some pics.

RE: help me identify this truck???
ok thanks...well my main consern is getting a engine for it...should i look for a small mid or big block for it? id rather use a roto start rather than a starter box. im looking for some decent speed and acceleration. id like to stay around 100 if possible but my cut off is no more that 150. thanks for all the help

what else do you need for the truck besides the obvious?
servos
receiver
tie rods
engine
gears
clutch shoes maybe
and a new fuel tank, just to help bring it back? to original spec's like a restoration for RC.

I understand the sentimental value, but you may be better off just putting the money into a new RC. Polish this one up as a trophy, but give him something that he can really bash with.
Just my thoughts.
