Has anyone put a high end bump start engine in one?? Can it use a standard one piece header, like a truggy?? If you have put a high end bump start engine does the drive train handle it?? Does anyone race one?? What does it weigh setup for the track.

I have an original Warhead and I used a bump start on it. Got the bump start because I was tired of killing my fingers and braking pull starts on the super pooper before I put the Axial .32 in it. still use the bump box.. even though the axial fires up imediately ....lazeyness I gess.

Would a standard 90 degree header work on it?? Will a Ninja 28 shred the drive train??

can some one list the main weak points on this warhead evo and is there a forward only for it.
I also want to know what size wheel hexes this truck comes with, or does it have buggy style axles to accept 17mm or 23mm adapters.
I have a mugen mbx5t with a hot mod nova 28 on it wich i will be replacing with a .21 because its over kill. I would like to put the nova 28 in the warhead whats the strongest motors you have seen in this truck.

I used to own a WH, the main weak points, cvd axles wear quickly, body mounts break real easy and you need to add the foc shaft for the tranny, tower sells them. Never had a problem with the diffs, filled them with silicone and never leaked. The fuel tank can be tricky I always had a low fuel level lean problem with three different engines. I broke a r/f lower arm and thats it, as long as you don't run into anything hard they won't break. It comes with 14mm hexes, you can use the savage 17mm hexes. That engine may be to much for the WH but, I really can't say because I never ran one in it.

I ran nova top p5 .21, o.s. rg .21, and a hyper.21 8 port and the main problem I had with the truck was the tranny. After I added the foc shaft it didn't bother me again!

I raced the truck 5 times it does handle really well, and if you get it dialed it will rock!

You could use a header like this

you might have to shave a little from the tvp.
