Im not a huge nitro MT expert, but my friend has one of those and its a very nice truck. Powerful, handles nicely.

If the price is right, I expect it would be a nice basic truck for moderate bashing.. Should be low-maintenance, fast, something you can take out of the box, break in, and have fun with.. Would be my approach anyway..

Still, would be an "only-if-the-price-is-right" kind of truck in my book.. For me that would be about 200 bucks new..(cuz ultimatehobbies.com was selling the original LGT10 for that a while back..)

Main issue without a doubt will be parts support.. Don't know what that is, but I've heard of problems in this area in the past.. Before pulling the trigger I would look into it..

part support means, weather or not they sell parts in his area for that truck, or if he is gonna have to mail order everything. i think for the price its a nice truck, but the one at ultimate was cheaper but also not the sport version, the sport version has a little more to offer so that's why its a bit more, tower has it the cheapest from what i have seen, then again i have not seen another place carry hb.
