Remove the two halves of the pinch bolt and it should come out very easily.

Can't remember what type of pinch bolt the 26 uses but if its the two half one then you need to lossen the bolt slighty and then give it a sharp tap to free the other half, the carb should come free then, sometimes if the bolt has been tightened for a long time half the clamp part gets seized in the case and will not allow the carb to come loose.

All piccos use 2 piece pinch bolts. And whenever i need to remove my carb i completely remove the bolts, never had any damage caused, dont see why it would.

Whatever you do, dont try to force the pinch bolt all the way out - is destroys the carb neck. [:'(]
