i want to get a monster truck without a big price tag.

is the tower terror .25 any good? do parts break easily is it easy to get replacement parts?

Save your self the head ache and get a mgt or after shock.
Low price tags, easy to work on and are 10 x more durable than the tower terror.

yea thought they would but hows performance i want to beat my friends t-maxx 2.5 but i think almost anyhting can beat it becuase he knows nothing about nitro trucks and its not tuned very well sometimes its so bad i have to tune it before he blows the engine.

what kind of speeds can i see out of this? it has to be able to handle big jumps i've heard its light on the shocks so if i get one i will get new springs and servos

any more information would be great

a properly tuned after shock or mgt can beat the tmaxx 2.5
After all it is .15

An aftershock will not be faster than a Tmaxx 2.5. But I second the aftershock, its $320 at killer hobbies. I own a Tower Terror and used to own an Aftershock and the aftershock is bigger and tougher. The TT is quicker and a wheelie machine, but the aftershock is faster top speed with the 2 speed transmission.

The TT is a good truck for the $$, roughly $260 after discounts. If you are tower member you can also get them in the scrach and dent area every now and then for alot cheaper, thats what I did. I ended up with one for like $220.

its not the .15 t-maxx but i'm getting it for x-mas and it can't be over like 370

if its not the .15 than its the 3.3 tmaxx. Then i would advise you to stay away sense its outdated. And for the price of the 3.3 you can get an aftershock or mgt and be much happier.

i don't want a t-maxx or a traxxas i would rather get something else i was also thinking a redcat avalanche.
don't bash redcat if you never used/owned one they are a great brand

I own a redcat and its nice for the $$ but its not as good as namecrands. The aftershock is a better truck, with better engineering, with better support. Plus the aftershock is cheaper than the avalanche.

Even at the same price the Shocks is way better, but go read my previous post I already told you where it was $320.

you have to log in to get the price. $320 shipped. The redcat is 360+shipping and is a chinese off brand. Keep in mind I own a shockwave and at $100 its a good truck but when you are comparing a redcat to a real brand at the same price its a no brainer.
