I will start off-

Modded parts-

Shaved every other nub off of the stock Maxx tires. ( sorry no pic, the camera isnt working).
Drive shaft durability mod, where I took and extra piece of male half shaft, and put it on the exposed female half shaft, to help prevent twisting.

Custom made parts-

Custom built rear A-Arm guards, made steel sheet metal.
Custom built full center skid plate, made from steel sheet metal.
Custom built front aluminum bumper, made from 1/4'' aluminum rod stock.

Just made some dual rate springs using some old copper colored/ extra firm Monster GT springs, some wire cutters, and a pair of vice grips. Here are some pictures--

Thats actually pretty dang cool! How do those muggy shock work for you? I take it they soak up the bumps pretty well? I would put some on my E-Maxx, but the spaces on the upper A-Arms arent big enough, and I would have to cut them, and that would make them too weak.

I was thinking of some LST2 shocks on my MGT as well... I am pretty sure they would fit.

actually there not muggy shocks their smaller lol. these are after shock shocks , i cut the cyclinder and the piston to fit the st1 here are the cut parts i call it chop cut rebuild lol. by traxxas standards (when they come out with a new engine they say its 60 or 50 %more hp)these shocks are 35% longer (6mm lol) than stock and more oil to boot.

what there trying to do is make a mount that goes between the 2 shock positions ,thats the part that is causing problems. this shock that i cut will fit (well maybe) in one shock position . the lst2 shock tower is a almost a direct fit for the mgt i will post some pics of mine with it, the lst2 or the aftershock shocks are too long to fit but if you cut them like i did with the st1 they should fit

Just curious, but why the .28 in that truck? .46 have too much power?

Why not? Well, maybe it doesnt pull high enough RPM's? Too much wheelspin?
