Bat will be there. Need to figure out which truck to run for Kahuna. I'll use the diffs from my other LST for this weekend.

Not sure yet, I may show up but not to race, it all depends on what the wife has up her sleeve, that and the fact I haven't done anything with my truck yet as I have been busy with work and getting things done around the house before spring. Not to mention that my wife has been dragging me out to "window shop" in anticipation of our tax return LOL.

I'll be there...tired I bet. Running Electric Kahuna then Sunday racing...wow I'll be tired as heck (setting up the excuse already...you like that? hehehe).

Everything of mine is ready for both days...ready as it can be. Would love to know if the track is getting drier now...

Look Professional Style track pics again. Is it me though or does that First jump onto the step up look further away that it was last week? Maybe its the panorama view from the cam?

You mean the first jump for the step up? I think its in the same spot. Its lined up with that 2x4 still, which is where it was last time. Basically right at the entry for the pit lane. Nice pics though!

Ya, jump looks the same to me.

Pit for ya? What do you need to pit for in electric? Come in for a quick recharge of the batteries LOL. I may try to stop in tomorrow with the kids to watch some. If not, I'll root for ya on live rc.

I would stick with your real name Jake. Especially with them posting results online. If you ever seek out a sponsor, it would probably help to have all the results under one name.

Saw those pics yesterday Rdub. Thats what was keeping me from jumping on the Jammin CRT.5. I knew about that thing a while ago. Some employee from Nitrohouse posted about it on another forum. I wanna see the body for it.

ADE, does that look pretty identical to the CRT .5? The layout on the chassis.

Oh, and good luck to everyone racing the electric Kahuna today!!!!

Idunno, as long as its not larger than a .28. LOL. Wonder what thats supposed to mount up to? Seems you'd need alot of room on a chassis. Wonder if it would fit on my muggy, without hitting the chassis braces. The heads on the twin look tiny compared to the .21 though. Maybe its really small... Either way, its pretty cool.

Ya, looks like routing the exhaust would be the biggest obsticle. You may be able to use it on something like a giga-crusher and use the pipes that just run straight out the rear. If you relocate the fuel tank, is there room to use something like that on a Savage? Doesn't that engine pretty much sit in the center?

Ya, 5-6 degrees tomorrow...yuck [:'(]

I just got back from FTR. Man it's beyond crowded. Not even standing room. I talked with Jake for a while and then left because I felt like I was just in everyone's way. They were still on their 1st round of qualifying when I left just before 3. I think they were on round 19 when I left. Jake is in round 5 for stock and round 25 for mod. Looks like that's going to be a looooooong day. Al said they had all the stuff to broadcast on live RC, but no one knew how to hook it up to make it work.

I think the TVP's would get in the way on a savage. Im guessing it would best fit on a flat chassis, non truggy type of truck. Like a maxx, or a TNX. Something without chassis braces to get in the way. The exhaust would be an issue on likely any vehicle. They either created that engine as a "prototype" looky what we can do, type of thing, or they have a vehicle in mind already. As for the Kahuna, yaaaa, its packed. I have no idea how they are fitting 220 plus entries in there. Its good though, as long as all the racers are having a good time. Al needs a big turnout like that. And im sure they are laying down a serious groove for the Nitro racers next week! And ya, its confirmed, the WEATHER SUXXX!!!!!!

They have an extra row of tables along the edge of the track on the side going towards the announcers booth and they opened up that office area by the bathroom for extra pit space. Other than that, everyone got about 2 foot of pit space. That was really the 1st electric race I've watched. It's so weird with it being quite and no smoke. You could really hear the chassis SMACKING the ground after landing the step up jump. It looked like everyone was having lots of fun. I wonder if they'll be done in time for the nitro race tomorrow LOL.

Thats cool they are having fun. That pit space just isnt big enough though. It would suck running more than one class with that rule in effect. lol. But im sure they are managing. The good news is, Jake will already be there for tomorrows race. lol. Hopefully he brought his Revo.
