Gas Mileage?
New to RCMT's. What kinda gas mileage can I expect to get from a RCMT. Like run time per gallon, per tank etc... Is it going to cost me an arm and a leg to keep fuel on hand?

Gas Mileage?
Well, Im new to trucks too, just got my1st one, a savage 21 yesterday.
Ive been flying planes for a while and compared to planes, trucks do cost a fortune in fuel.
A tank of fuel seems to last about 5 - 8 mins depending on how hard you run it.
Fuel is around $16 a gallon, so, it can get costly I suppose.
Something I am going to modify is the battery deal, I think using aa batteries is ridiculous when all you need is a battery pack like planes use and plug um in after your done.
HMMM, maybe the aa's last longer than the charge on the rechargable packs, i just dont like taking the thing out to replace them.
The thing seems to be tough as nails though. Ive been hard on the truck today, rolling and flipping, most of the time, it lands on its wheels all Ive managed to break is antenna post sticking out the top..

yeah you'd have to remove them. you can always buy the topless AA and make your own battery pack.
are your tough to reach? i dont have a savage so i dont know
oh yeah 1 ounce = about 29.5 cc's
128 ounces in a gallon
150cc gas tank =about 5 ounces
128 ounces( 1 gallon of fuel) = about 25 tanks of fuel(+or- a tank)
and if he gets fuel for $16 a gallon your looking at about 65¢ per tank of fuel.
man im bored

Gas Mileage?
I need to make a correction.
I stated a fuel price of $16 figuring the cost would be comparable to fuel I use in planes.
Well, today I purchased the 1st gallon of fuel just for the truck and to my suprise, its more like $23 per gallon.
