So what you peeps would do if you were in my place.

I have an EK4. I got last year part exchanged it with a 1/10 onroad. It was a piece of junk and I totally remade it and came nice. Now I really love the truck more thinking the hours I spent in it. 2 downsides are that so far I had very limited time to drive it as each time I go something always has to crop up mosty due to me fixing it wrong or I overlook something.
Another thing is the short chassis compared to other trucks.

But otherwise is an impressive site at the track.

Now I got this offer of part exchange the EK 4 with a new TNX 5.2. of course I have to add more cash to it.

Now the TNX is brand new model.
EK 4 is not

TNX is a racer
EK 4 is not

TNX is made of plastic and though imo weak
EK 4 is not

TNX is not a basher (though i dont really bash just race)
EK 4 is a great basher, not sure about the racer

TNX is a nice truck
EK 4 is an impressive truck

TNX is readymade
EK 4 I spent hours fixing and was extreme fun

TNX is just a truck
EK 4 is MY truck


So if anybody reads this, what would you do in my place? Getting rid of the outdated model and get a proper racer now that EK 4 is fixed and everything?
Or should I keep the Ek and forget about the TNX?


P.S and im not intesreted in having a savage , revo, mta so on and so fort. Its either one or the other.

The TNX looks sweet, with a big engine too. Kinda reminds me of a TMAXX though, only with four shocks instead of 8. TNX appears to be more of a racer, but I wouldnt choose it based just on THAT. Sounds like you have already chosen, you just wany US to make you feel better about it. Personally, I would keep the EK, but thats only because I would LOVE to have one right now.

Tnx all the way.......not one of em out there is perfect so I say go with one that is updated. I have heard nothing but good about both the old and the new TNX so it is a good choice.........
