it looks like im gonan join the crowd and get a savage.
anyone know the best price around?

well im buying a savage
Stormer has them for 399 (before shipping, would be close). With a fair amount of scrounging I found mine at 389 a few weeks ago and have heard of a 379 out there somewhere.
