My TNX 5.2R
My stock radio crapped out on me. Installed a new Futaba 2.4ghz system in yesterday. Man is it ever sweet. I also put
in the upgraded brake disc and an HPI tuned ribbed pipe. Goes pretty good at the moment (still fine tuning though).
The new 2.4ghz system has Dual Rates so I can switch steering speed at high speeds and it's also got programmable
ABS brakes. HUGE difference!
Got IMEX Medium Knobbies and Rims on it too. Rims looks great and the tires are a must have in the snow. And not too
shabby on pavement too! I duct taped the insides of them so they don't balloon at high speeds either.
Other notable mods:
• Heli Header Tank
• Dual Shocks
• Aftermarket Oversized Dynamic Air Filter
• High Torque Hitec Servos
• 6V Receiver Pack
Overall it's a great truck that's taken a considerable amount of bashings. You'll notice the one shock that's held together by a bunch of zip ties, but it works, and it works great. This is also my 2nd engine, 2nd main fuel tank and 2nd shock towers too. lol. All electronics are silicone sealed and it's pretty well waterproof.
Cheers.

I really don't see any feedback on this truck that often either. Your TNX is pretty nice though, love the wheels and tires. Long live Futaba for radios too, I own a 3PK and wouldn't give it up for anything else except for the new 4PK.

thanks. it's just weird that there's not many people who own this truck and talk about it. ig ot a mini mgt 3.0 instead and already, it's shelved as the front wheel axle just snapped off and i wasn't even doing anything :-(
definitely should have stayed with my first choice and gotten a TNX :-(
