yeah.. i saw that too. but the problem with all these is that its going to be heavy and almost non-portable. i cant believe that in todays world we dont have cheap carbon fiber and thin plexi glass folding ramp. those cant be that expensive either. there might be but i havent found one.

Okay let it be known that these are the worst ramp. i mean u get what you pay for right.. i bought small and big ramps from duratrax. i am small rc18mt and smaller version of that duratrax ramp setup in my room. it works great for VERY light car.. and then i tried this bigger verion with my 1:10 car out in parking lot. LOL..that thing goes flying everywhere. even out in parking lot, it works for small car. its TOO Light for anything over 1.5 pounds.

I have 2 ten-eighty ramps from sport-mart. They work great and you can put them side by side to make a really wide jump for big trucks!

Here is a link to several versions of [link=http://www.dickssportinggoods.com/family/index.jsp?categoryId=710106&view=all]Skate ramps[/link] including the ten-eighty.

But I am sure if you google Ten-Eighty you can find many more places to buy them.

Check the reviews on the Ten Eighty Launch Ramp. All three agree it is light weight and considering it is basically 2 X 3.3 X 1 feet I would say it is portable and would fit in the back of a car.

They are very simple to build! use your imagination here... go to local construction site and get some scrap 3/8 inch thick plywood should bee easy to find 4 foot by about 2.5- 3 foot.( this is the imagination part) one sheet... piece of rope or chain.... second sheet should look like this lol /--\ opps forgot the HINGE at the top.. when it's time to move it folds up to bout 3/4 inch thick, and fairly light.. I will try to build one tomorrow and post as well as my home made ones.

Personally, if i were you i would go with the RCBasher Simple and Compact Folding Design. This one is a little heavy, but it's easy to build, adjustable, inexpensive, and doesn't take up much space in the garage or the car. And no curved cuts are required!(Got that of the site) I built the Fixed Curved Ramp with 45-Degree Exit ramp and its fine. Fits in the back of the car. Its great. Or you could even put it on a trailer if you wanted. That duratrax ramp is pretty much a peice of crap. Dont get it. Have fun anyway.

I built the very same on mentioned in the RCCA magazine about a year ago......and it works like a champ. started it with my emaxx and now use it for the Savage and MMGT 3.0. This thing cost me about 10 dollars and would have been cheaper had I looked for the free sheet of plywood at a construction sight as mentioned.....
