Servo arms.. they have such small holes! How to fit a screw?
I went to my LHS..Ace Hardware.. Home Depot..
But I forgot to post here.. the best place for R/C Answers
Anyway.. You know what I'm talking about.. the holes in the Aluminum servo arms are soo small!! I dont wanna drill it and make the arm weaker. There must be a reason why they make it so small.
I'm trying to hook up my Hitem 5945 Servo to my Mugen MBX Works using the aluminum "high strength" arm that came with the servo.
Great build quality and everything.. but the damn thing is so small..
I have it rigged with a paperclip right now.. lol
(I'm not running it.. I'm in the process of buying a radio for it right now)
Thanks for your input!

They make the holes that small because there are some applications that use screws that small (my Kyosho landmax brake linkage comes to mind).
You do need to drill it to the appropriate size. The aluminum servo arm (post hole enlargement) will still be stronger than the smaller screw/bolt that fits in the original hole size.

Yup I second that. I end up having to open up all my aluminum servo horns. they will still be plenty strong after the holes are enlarged.
