Default heat cycle break-in questions

I was reading heat cycle break-in here: http://www.rcuniverse.com/magazine/a...article_id=397 and this is what i gathered.
1) wrap the head with some socks or alum to prevent heatloss (especially in cold weather like this).. around 40 degrees F
2)warm up a little with glow plug still attached..
3) Do 3 mins run (with max of 1/4 throttle) for 5 times with letting engine cool in between (try to get to 200 degrees F.. measured with temp gun)
4) Then do 5 mins run for 3 times letting engine cool in between. with max of 1/2 throttle and some bursts of full throttle..

is that right?
now questions.. I am breakin-in LST2 engine.
1. does above 4 steps sounds right? anything you wanna add for breakin in around 40 degrees F?
2. on step 2) above .. for how long do i need to warm up engine? to what temperature?
3. on step 3 and 4, it says allow engine to cool off between runs. Let it to cool off to what temperature? for how long?

Default RE: heat cycle break-in questions

my understanding was after you've warmed up, just run the truck around and occasionally do WOT for a couple of secs. after about 3-5 mins, kill engine and cool down on BDC then do it again.

i'm no expert as i've only done 3 tanks on my mmgt so far into the break-in process

let it cool to just room temperature. (70f) and start again
