Dual motor problem
I am new to rock crawling and I have a problem. I have a twin motor crawler that Im running a novak 12t rooster and a set of 65 turn Integy lath motors. Problem being when going forward the front will keep pulling when the rear seems to stall out and when going in reverse its the front motor that seems to stall when the the rear keeps pulling. Anyone have any sugestions?

RE: Dual motor problem
Do you have the motors wired in series or parallel? Parallel will give full voltage available to each motor and not stall as easily as they will when wired in series. If you have them wired parallel already, maybe try re-gearing for more torque. Some stall under extreme conditions can be normal for trucks that have separate motors for each axle, but it would take quite a bit to stall a 65 turn motor that is geared correctly.

RE: Dual motor problem
They are wired in parallel with the stock pinions, thats one thing I havent changed yet. Ive been tring to figure which adjustable motor mount would be most sutable
so I can use a smaller pinion.
