Default smarttech magic wheel +stuck throttle

I just come back inside me and my boy was outside running his truck i got for him at xmas.Well he ran it out of gas so i filled it up got it running and he was driving it around and he drove it back to us and gave me the control so i was driving it for a little bit WHEN the throttle stuck when i was wide open!!!!!!It was driving itself then. All batteries are fully charged . i managed to miss our dog which was going nuts. It was steering but not much it was screaming. this truck is reallyreally FAST when at about 50 feet fom us it hit a wood pile and broke the whole front end off. The only thing holding the whole front end to the truck is the tie rods. We ran over to it was still running wide open with one tire spinning and was about 10 inches around the body broke off so i reached in to pull the throttle back and my finger hit the spur gear and i have one hell of a gash on my finger now!!my boy says dad i can drive better than u but you can fix it right dad? I said yes. The trottle was stuck open but now moves freely Time to buy some more tmaxx parts again i just put a front shock tower on last night now this oh well still loads of fun

You may have been on the outer limits of the range...Do a range test before you fire it up next time. Also check to make sure the antennae didn't break loose from the receiver and that the battery pack wasn't loose in the connector to the receiver. When the thing is out of control its easier to flip it over and push slightly against the fly wheel to stop it.

Just a quick word, its a lot more desirable to read when you write legibly, and use periods in proper places.

His writing is fine dude lol.

This is why it is suggested you use a failsafe in a area that is not enclosed and large.

i had the same prablem twice when using my tmaxx, i had a failsafe and it still rad away twice... once it was the crystals, they made the throttle glitch... and the second time the throttle linkege at the pivoit point got stuck, it was a lil out of adjustment, oh btw whare did you get that truck at?
