Depends really what you plan to do with it. They are both great trucks. I have yet to fully break in my 8.0, but man im lovin it. The sound, the torque, it just has that MONSTER truck feeling. The LST2 i love on the track. Both are good, both are very big. And both actually come with decent radios. Though the LST2 comes with a synth radio. Thats a tough choice. But if i were choosing one juuust for bashing, it would have to be the MGT 8.0.

From a brute power standpoint, the MGT takes the cake. If you want a more balanced racing platform that can also be bashed, the LST is the top dog.

An LST2 with New Era rollbar and Dynamite engine-brace is as tough as any basher out there.. Throw on some RPM arms and it's tougher..

I like the looks and concept of the new MGT, but the LST2 is just and excellent, excellent truck.. And not just for racing - but for everything...

As Thermal said, which is better depends on what you want to do with it, and what you want more out of a truck... The MGT would get the burliness points, but the LST2 is a great all-rounder.. Bit like comparing an old-school muscle car to a Porsche...

Both are cool.
