never regretted buying this truck,it takes a consistent pounding, and keeps right on going,i used to talk alot of smack about the savage because of my buddys red savage pictured next to mine, then i shut up and bought one, found out quickly it was not the poor trucks fault, its his,due to his horrible driving, mechanical, and maintainence skills i shunned the savage for a long time

The Savage may be better than the T-Maxx, but I would beg to differ saying it's the Most Durable truck out. I have the T-Maxx, had the Savage X. I sold my Savage X. If money is no object I would say get a LST2. I have one and it is hella more durable than the Savage X will ever be. Also it makes a great basher and can with ease be a just as good racer. Also it is easier to work on compared to the Savage X.
