Default Savage steering

Im new to this hobby and i just got a savage a few months ago, ive went though a gallon of gas and now the steerings messed up. it will turn right fine but wont hardly turn left. i think its something to do with the servo but im not sure. someone please help!

Default Savage steering

Chances are is that the gears in the servo are stripped. It's quite is and cheap to replace the gears. But if you need more steering power now might be the time to just upgrade and get a more powerful servo.

Default Savage steering

This is a stupid question but,have you tried the fine tuning knob on the remote?If it is turned one way or the other to far,It wont turn very good in one direction...

Default Savage steering

Yeah don't get burned by the dials on the transmitter.
I though my savage had a crappy turn radius until I figured out one of the knobs was set wrong.
There is one for steering trim and one for range of motion.

Default Savage steering

I notched my front end and added at least a inch of turning radius. Got my big joes and had to do something. See if i can find the post and will repost here

ok i tried the knobs on the controler and its still screwed up

I know this is stupd but did ya check your servo batteries?? And are ya sttill using the stock servo? Do ya have a servo saver?
