Tmaxx at very high rpm when idleing.?huh?
When i start my tmaxx 2.5 it idles at very high rpm's. I mean very high rpms!. It is a new carb and i just put a traxxas 2.5 pullstart on it. Would that have anything to do with it? Which needle do i work on to lower the rpms when idleing on the truck? thanks

DLOCK said it all..adjust the LSN, I replaced my carb a few weeks ago and that was the first thing I adjusted, the idle came right down...

yes but make sure you open it not close it!! Just turn it counter clock wise half a turn, if its still high udjust the idle screw by turning it 1/8 of a turn out, or until the idle comes down!!

Err.. I'm surprised no one said anything about the set screw, which is probably the culprit
Also.. less probably, maybe the carb hase a hole somewhere?
Maybe the radio's throttle setting is in "reverse servo" position and its at full throttle during idle? J/K
The LSN can definitely have a big impact on idling, but if your sure its tuned right and it still idles high, I'd take a good look at the set screw!
Adjust the LSN to have a good low range, not to get a good idle!
