Howdy,

Sticking to our priorities and establishing careers and raising our families over the last 20 years , give or take a few. My brother, some friends and I returned to the RC world. ( Nitro Monster Trucks to be exact ). We just love the Eye Burning Smell of Nitro.!!!

Our trucks consist of LST2s, Tmaxxs, Savages and Revos. The local Hobbyshop where most of them were purchased has a sweet dirt track. We are allowed to use it anytime we want free of charge...as long as a race competition isn't being held. This is awesome, because we live in the middle of nowhere and the track is pretty much empty most of the time.

My brother and I are planning to convert an ATV track at my home into a RC track , and build BIG jumps at his home for our trucks.

My 12 year old son thinks this is COOL....OUR WIVES AND DAUGHTERS THINK WE ARE OBSESSED AND ACT LIKE A BUNCH OF LITTLE BOYS....I say to her " WHO CARES, I NEVER AGREED TO ACT OLD AND GROWN UP WHEN WE SAID OUR WEDDING VOWS".!!

"Just kidding, we love em' " ( the wives and daughters )

I think it would be awesome if everyone who visit this thread would tell us about the jumps and stunts you or your friends have tried.......and if you have photos and videos all the sweeter.

yea if your jumping buildings your gonna have to go for the 2 story because the ones been easily cleared in the vid and landed and drove away.....not to mention that records been held for a long time now.... (that video isnt new at all)

Definitely a big jump video you sent Ken448, But I agree with PatrickBW......it's just a buggy.....never the less....it's still awesome.!! I should have mention our goal is the second story of a split-level house......not the garage roof. -EXTRA-, thanks for the welcome back.!!.....................Man, I wish I didn't have to go to work....I just wanted play with my truck all day.!!!!!

I am quite sure people have done more impressive stuff than jump their buggy over their house. I've seen videos of people jumping there trucks off of their school over at beaver stick. I saw some video of a guy jumping his lst 2 off of a big ass graval pit on here before. I highly encourage people to take their trucks to the limit, but in order to do that you need to be able to set parameters to the jumps. Obviously they have to be able to drive away, but what about stuff such as a broken a-arm, or blown shock. Does it still qualify then. I mean hell if your not going to have rules for this then. I'll take the 8 ft motocross ramp I jump off of to the top of a mountain, and jump my rc off of a 1000 ft cliff.

I guess I've been out of the Hobby for to long. I should have know better than think jumping a house was big stuff. The stunts and jumps they are doing with BMX, SKATEBOARDS, DIRT BIKES.....etc should have given me a clue........"I just gave myself a HEAD-SLAP........I'm all better now and thinking more XTREME"

I guess my brother and I have a lot of homework to make-up,... to catch-up with the stunts and jumps everyone is pullin' off these days..........AS FOR US THOUGH.........the stunt is only GOOD, if you can drive it away......broken parts are just added conversation pieces......JUST LAND IT AND DRIVE AWAY....YEE HAA.!!!

You just gave me an idea.....maybe I should buy a Dodge Charger body and paint it like the General Lee and use it for all our videos.......I have to talk it over with my brother first, since I am the MOPAR fan (426 HEMI RULES) and he is a FORD fan (COBRAJETS and 69 MACH 1s).

Man I haven't had this much energy for a while.......NITRO RC RULES..!!!!!

I think the coolest video would be of someone who lives in a big city jumping their RC from the roof of one tall building to another. The potential of destroying the truck and/or getting into a bunch of trouble would be high, but it would be a really cool vid if you pulled it off.

In case that's a hint..., even though I live in the city center, the buildings here aren't that flat(see pic..) I want a river - destruction potential is still high.... There is a pretty extensive canal system here..

well its not a river but it would do, i have a drainage right of way in the back that goes to a pump station about 1000 ft away. this summer i was going to get permits and put a catch basin in and pipe the rest away about 300 ft. but befor i do i wanted to jump it with the rc trucks. its not that wide maybe 4ft or more but it will do.

Jump it over a pile of dog poo. It wouldn't be a big jump but the risk factor there is extreme enough!

Or set the body on fire and jump it over some remotely detonated explosive fireworks.

Or make a ramp with a roller coaster flip into a jump, like they did on the show Jackass.
