Default New motor

I am considering a Mach 427 engine for my Cenracing Nemesis 7.7 monster truck. Can anyone tell me if this motor will work in my truck?Dynamite wont tell and Cen wont either.Hopefully someone here can along with any good and bad points with this motor.

there are no bad points with the mach 427 its a great engine. id imagine it would do pretty good in your nemesis. it moves the lst2 pretty quickly so i dont see a problem with it.

you will need to mod the stock engine mount to except it and the lrp spec 3 or picco 28 would be a better choice. especially the picco since it has the power you will need to make up for the weight of the truck

Hey thats pretty cool: CEN did it , Why not you!!! What you might want to do is ask CEN how they manage to use the same clutch bell with that big cone collar that come's with the truck and that big fly wheel to fit on to a .28 size engine. Just to give you a reference point on where to start!! Thats the most important part thats is most concern!!! You see fitting a 427 or .28 on there engine mount is going to be the easy part because most likely you are just going to make mesurement , Drill the holes and tap it. But that clutch bell its what has me concern, Because I would like to know if CEN use the same clutch-bell, flywheel and cone collar housing or did they use something else!![&:] Once you get that anwser form them, The rest is down hill.[sm=wink_smile.gif] Good Luck on that!![sm=thumbup.gif]

you use all the original hardware all you need to do is put a 1/8 scale cone behind Cen's cone.
my truck has seen a lrp spec 2, lrp spec 3, nova .28 and picco 28. the nova and the picco have bin my to favorites on it so far then the spec 3. here is a old pic when i had the nova 28 on it

The mach is a great engine runs good, easy tune and has a ton of RPM's. You won't be disappointed. Good luck and post some pic's when you get it done.
