I Need nitro MT Purchase Direction!
I'm a intermediate/ expert driver mostly in electric rc, and im looking for the best nitro MT for my buck. Ive been looking at the savage, mgt 8.0, tmaxx or revo. But there are so many more to choose from. I'm mostly looking for a vry fast truck and something that can handle a beating. So i need some help on making a good purchase! So anyone who has or knows anything about the market please help me out! thanks

Any of the monster trucks available can take a beating, the question is how hard are you gonna beat it? All of the current trucks have strengths and weaknesses, some are easier to work on than others, some are a little faster, some can take a little more abuse than others, but above all else all MT's are high maintenance, especially when they are really abused. In no particular order I would recommend Any of the Associated trucks, the Losi trucks, HPI trucks, Cen trucks, and Traxxas trucks. Basically look at all the trucks and choose the one that catch's your eye the most.

ORIGINAL: Snaut Rocket
Best money can buy.
Lst2
Fast handles great and needs very little hopups to make it one of the best.

I could not be happier with my choice, 7 gallons later
My 2nd choice would probably be the MGT 8.0 or teh new Savage XL

Ya. I would have to say lst2. I have an aftershock, a version of the lst2 and it's awesome. A real lst2 is even better... All you need for a lst2 to really be the best is a dynamite engine brace. Then you're set. I spent 3 months researching before i bought my aftershock, and you wont regret buying an aftershock or lst2!

i did reasearch the lst2, a vry nice looking and has very good reviews. Although the starting price of 650 is a little high. Specialy when u can get the mgt 8.0 with way more power for only 500. But the duriblity of this truck is questionable. AE usually makes a good product tho

Well since your going to be smashing it from day to day then the four main trucks to look at are the Losi LST2, Associated MGT 8.0, Cen Nemesis, and the HPI Savage. Out of all the trucks on the market these four are the most rugged in my opinion. Out of the box they are tough, but not bullet proof, there are hopups and upgrades for all of these trucks to get them as near to bullet proof as possible. Good luck with your choice.
