Major glitching with Spektrum systems
Has anyone ever been around a Nextel cell phone while operating their Spektrum radio? Every single time I've been around one, my truck drives itself and there is major glitching unless I get away from the Nextel. I guess their no-interference, no-glitch statement isn't true!

I have the dx3. I have operated the radio with nextel on my belt clip with no issues so far. 2.4ghz is succeptible to interference just like 2.4 ghz phones. The technology is only new to rc not household electronics.

As I understand it, you should not be getting 'interference' from another 2.4GHZ signal as the Spektrum is supposed to scan for used frequencies and use ones that are not in use. I would call Horizon as I suspect that you have a bad unit.
The original Spectrums (non-pro version) can have an issue where they experience lag - the problem was is the units process ALL information received in the 2.4GHZ spectrum even though it only utilizes a small portion. Therefore, the more 2.4 GHZ signals the unit recieves, the longer it takes to filter out what it doesn't need.

On the FCC site it states that there is still a possibility of interference on all of the 2.4ghz spred spectrum radios with all models but its very remote. It comes more from the home phone devices so leave your 2.4ghz phones at home...lol [&:]
