my friend wants to get in the hobby and is looking for an affortable truck. he was looking at an hpi firestorm but i dont know. any suggestions for low budget??

whats the budget go for because $300 can get him an Ofna Ultra lx-one buggie and thats a great way to start the hobby 4wd 1/8 scale nitro buggie and he can race with it if he wants

Tell him to save his money for a while and get what he wants instead of getting what you can afford. The 1/8 buggy is the best and cheapest way to learn this sport. I love the 1/10's myself but for learning there quite expensive [:'(] good advise there nitro.rc.racer

the TT ST-1 is under $300. i have one. its a bad @$$ truggy. its perfect for the basher/racer. it runs like a top and is durable as hell. the only thing that you might want to upgrade in the future if you wana really start racing is the radio and servos.
