Default XTM 24.7 in a SAVAGE?

DO ANY OF YOU GUYS OUT THERE HAVE AN XTM 24.7 ENGINE IN YOUR SAVAGE? IF SO I WOULD LIKE TO GET SOME INFO ON INSTALATION. WAS IT A DIRECT BOLT IN? AND HOW HAS IT PERFORMED SO FAR FOR YOU? ANY INFO WOULD BE GREAT TO HAVE.

THANKS,

NEIL

The 24.7 is a direct fit. It's a screaming engine although the cooling head is not supposed to be the greatest and most people throw a Nova race pro head on there or something else to keep it cool.

How do you like the torque, and power? How much more punch does it give compared to the Nitro Star 21, and by how much did the xtm increase your acceleration, and top end speed?
