Default Would You Buy The "New" Revo Platinum?

I did a search, and nothing came up. Just looking to get people's opinions. Really doesnt seem like a bad option if you were going to race. And you can use your own radio!

Well, being 14 sucks as I'm always skint. But if I was older and had the money, and was after a truggy/mt type thing, I would yes.

Even know I could just add a few of the PE hop ups to my revo and make my own, I would buy one just because they are limited and in a few years would be worth a nice penny.

Nah... I'm not into racing enough for it... I am thinking of converting my 2.5r to a 3.3 chassis... got a local guy with an extra chassis...

I'm getting a revo next but it would not be a platinum. I was looking at the mgt 8.0 and savage XL and it's like a bad sequel IMO. I look at it this way, I will break stuff and upgrade as I replace parts to make it better and for me that's the most fun. The revo platinum mgt 8.0 and savage XL is just a way for them to make money without spending a ton of cash. That's my take on it. I think they should make something all new and kick ass then I'll buy it.

I'm definately buying one. Lots of improved things I've been waiting for. Granted I race and never bash, so the Platinum fits my bill perfectly. Of course I'll be parting it out...because I prefer some other things, but for Traxxas to release this new truck all race ready is exciting. Either I buy new (my current truck could use a rebuild before outdoor season anyhow) or I patiently have to wait for all these new bits I really want to come out. I'm not waiting, already on order and #1 on the list

Never. If you know me you know why.

It's not even a kit, and it includes Traxxas servos and a 3.3 engine.

There is nothing wrong with the 3.3 if you know what your doing. Quiet a few racers use the 3.3 including myself.

Weird a Traxxas 3.3 won the nationals...

I'm an OS engine guy, but the 3.3 is still a great engine.

And I am sure it was 100% stock and untouched

If I had the money, I would buy it. Then I'd go to Goergia with my stock Revo PE, and put the smack down on all the LST2's
