Default Carb LSN spring

Hey guys a little help perhaps??

OS 15CV engine, 10E carb, Low Speed Needle spring lost, going to replace with a spare spring..question is, does anyone know how big the spring should be?

I cut a spring to about 4.5mm, and it seems to be OK, but there is allot of play in the assembly..any suggestions??greatly appreciated..

Needs to be long enough to keep the screw from backing out!! Also needs to be fair tight with a 1/16th" gap!!

adeoliver, thanks for th reply, when you say fairly tight with a 1/16" gap are you referring to the spring fitting fairly tight around the screw itself? I also assume that the spring should be the length of the screw threads?
