Help with A-Arm "Play"
I just installed hardcore racing bulkheads on my 2.5 maxx and i'm having a problem with "Play" on the lower arm (Only installed the front right so far). There is about a 1/16 gap between the lower a-arm and the bulkhead (where the hingepin is) causing this "play". I'm using stock a-arms (for now). What can I do to solve this problem? do they make spacers this small?

Help with A-Arm "Play"
A lot of people "shim" their diffs and stuff to make them perform better. Basically they are putting washers in to take up the slack. I would assume you could do the same with the bulks, and a-arms. Only thing to be careful of is getting too many shims in there and making them bind. I know the stock 2.5 arms had some little plastic washers, maybe one of those would work.....

If you are referring to "end-play", then make a spacer for it. You should be able to get some brass tubing of the size you need from your LHS. just cut to size with a Dremel & cut-off wheel.
