i was running my tower terror MT today and noticed a few problems.

first
when it was running it was powerful and responsive but i noticed when going up a hill or under heavy load it will shut off?

second
and my main concern, the truck wont roll forward or back!
all wheels will move, motor turns over easy and runs. it seems the gears wont move. checked the break its not enguaged so im at a loss for ideas here... how bout you?

well pulled the motor out last night, everything in spinning freely.
what i think heppened is i had just tweaked the idle and had the body off made a run up the parkign lot and it
fliped over on its back my guess is that the force of the crash shifted the motor and the gear mesh was outa wack.
ill let ya know when i put it back togeather

It probably died because it was to lean, fattten up the mix a little for climbing [:-]

alright ill give it a shot, i lost my tube of locktight! so i didnt put it back togeather yet.

I am betting you flipped it on its lid without a body. The Tower Terror has few flaws and that is one of them. If you lands squarely on the head, the engine mount slides down in the chassis and locks up the drivetrain. The good news is that I have done it at least a dozen times and never broken anything. Keep your differentials shimmed tight and go make smoke. An Axial 28, Hpi 4.6 or Picco 26 will really make your Terror wake up. I prefer the Picco, but have run all of them. Need Parts...... just kidding ...... it is a terrible addiction ...... I think I have enough parts from Ebay Auctions and Tower purchses to build a fifth truck and still have parts left over. BB
