Default Savage XL vs LST2? Bashing/Racing

I am just going to re-use this thread instead of making a new one... The LST2 is "roughly" the same as the Revo, and "they" are saying that the Savage XL will blow the Revo away. I was convinced on the LST2, but then I noticed the new XL's. They are about the same exact size, and I like the bigger trucks. Also, in the videos of the XL, it justs seems to float off jumps, and it is like $100 cheaper. What should I get?

IMO, $200 wont cut it to make the Savage race worthy.. I suggest going LST2 or Revo and taking it from there, unless you are completely bent on getting a Savage for racing, get a Revo/LST2... A savage CAN be raceworthy, but its takes a lot of money and time..

I have seen both race, and they are both pretty damm quick and have good handling, I would just recommed putting some new tires on the lst2 like some tnx rims and tires for better grip, the stock ones are not very good for gripping and handling

Ok guys, I am thinking about getting a used LST2 off ebay, since it is in my range. Is there any parts I should look at in the pics?

lol mine, I swear, after all the Carbon Fiber goodies I just stuck into mine, and my shimmed STS .30 with 2WD, if that baby doesnt hit just under 55mph, I'll be pissed[>:] Then again, I still need to mod my engine, but thats after I get some more practice with my dremel, and I need some more attachments I hope I'll be able to beat all the NYC MT drag racers, there is some fierce comp here in the summer, they race for cash[8D] Oh yeah, I forgot, when the Savage XL comes out, I'll be stealing its gearbox off of ebay and sticking it into my truck with the wide ratio third gear, I cant wait till they start parting it out on ebay!!!![>:][>:]

i would get the LST2 over any of them. the revo is great and very race worthy but cant bash like a LST2. the savage is too big and top heavy...kinda like a retarted elaphant on crack.

I dont think that its possible to tell since the XL is not out yet. I believe that most of your responses are from people that think you are talking about the X.

649 is retail.
You should be able to get it anywhere for below 600.
Amain has it for 569
