I just ordered the Sirio 3.0 and it states that it uses the same clutch and e-z start with no modification needed to fit stock T-maxx. Only problem is its on order and wont be availible till late May from Tower.

Yeah ... get the Sirio... I just got one from my LHS but havent put it in yet.

The cool thing about it is it uses the stock Traxxas one way bearing, can easily accomodate the EZ start and you can use a Savage stock pull start for it too....

hey again,
i guess my next question is what sirio engine do i get? the .18? or wait until the 3.0 is available and get that. but since the 3.0 is .21 and made for the t-maxx.. will it have too much power? and cause brakage of dogbones or anything? thanks again

the 3.0 is the .18, A .21 would be a 3.5

Hé, guys

Does one of you know what engine is a direct drop in for the "old" Tmaxx ? I broke my pro .15 engine and I don't know what engine to buy to replace it. I'd rather buy a .18 or .21 for it, if it exists anyway.
If not , what .15 engine is a stock fit ?

I wish you guys would quit recommending the Sirio. They're already hard enough to find as it is. By the time I'm ready to buy one, there will be a 6 month waiting list, and the price will be double what it is now

I have been on an RC tear lately.... I almost have a full gallon through my Sirio already and it rips like crazy... Every tank seems to have more power than the last.

All I can say is Get the Sirio... you wont be sorry. In fact you will look like a crazy man because you wont be able to help but laugh out loud when you are driving it.

And I have the 6 port.... I cant wait to put an 8-port sleeve in it.
