Default fuel mix?

HEy Everyone,
I have had problems in the past with my 2.5 on my Maxx and i finally got it "tuned in right" but also i put different fuel than ive been using.. i have been using 10% top fuel and i ended up mixing the 10% and 20% together and my truck ran great. any suggestions why this would happen" and in doing so what percent in a sense would i be using? so i know what to buy nexttime i need fuel. thanks guys

I'm not an expert, but logic would state that if you mixed equal quantities you will end up with 15% nitro.
e.g. 1 litre 10% has 100ml nitro in it, 1 litre 20% has 200ml nitro.
Therefore 2 litres of mix will have 300ml nitro, 1 litre mix would have 150 ml nitro, so 15%.
Also, increasing the nitro from 10% to 15% will mean greater performance thats why the higher the nitro content, the more expensive the fuel.

I run 16% sidwinder race fuel.
Simply because the 20% is $24.99 and the 16% is $15.99.
I actually like it better.
