hi,i was just wondering if anyone ever put the hpi 12r in the t-maxx and if it would be fast or not.i know it makes my nitro rs4 3 ss fly so i wonder what it would do in a t-maxx.has any one ever tried this?

That 12r doesnt have the torque to push a tmaxx.

the tmaxx uses a .15 size engine. You sure dont want to go down a size!

Put in a .15 size and you'll be fine

Fish water. That enigne will make it scream, Ive ran 2 of them, just awsome, Its basicaly the same thing as the RB c12, which I have also ran in my maxx's. But the c12 Rb is a much nicer engine. However they both have plenty of torque to get the truck up to speed!! I could pull wheels with both engines, I just geared down to an 18 tooth clutch bell, and stuck a big tube header and tuned Ae pipe on it, I could pull wheelies at will, and still smoke any .15 maxx, cause those engines usualy have a higher rev and of course more horse power. You will not be disapointed with it in a maxx, the top speed is very nice!!

Smoke any .15? I doubt that. I'd put a Fantom up to it any day of the week.

Put it up!! Fantom may take a hpi but has no chance on the Rb!! .15 or not it doesnt matter, they both put out the same horse power, and I dont think the Fantom could hang with the Rb Now on another note it wouldnt stand a chance next to a TRX 2.5 but thats a different class.

B.S.! I have both a Fantom .15 and the TRX 2.5, and the Fantom is every bit as ballsy as the 2.5, maybe even moreso. You obviously have no experience with any Fantom engines.
