Just buy the 2.5 tmaxx and save yourself alot of headaches. Nothing sweeter than a brand new fresh truck. sell the old one for 250. Put aluminum bulkheads, shocks and steering on the new one. replace all the stock screws and tightlock the hell out of everything. Go see how high you can jump it!!!

if you already got it all setup for the 2.5 why not just get the Sirio .18, i moved up from the pro 15 to the 18 and man what a differance! with the .18 at 1/4 throttle it feels like i've got as much power as the old 15 at full... and if you want to upgrade other parts, go for the drive train.

I just bought the old t-maxx and spent over $300 converting to a 2.5 with a Sirio .18.

Should of done what Jalpaug suggested. Should of bought a new Sportsmaxx for $300. Would of had brand new parts and sell the parts I didn't need like the transmission, gas tank, tires, chassis, radio system ect for $100 . If I wanted the Sirio, I could of sold the 2.5 engine from the Sportsmaxx for $100 and for another hundred could of got the Sirio.

Sportmaxx $300 - parts sold (above) $100 = $200 w/2.5 engine

So, for $200 you got new suspension, 2.5 engine. new body, all conversion parts, new ez-start + extra replacement parts.
