Both are nitro's so they aren't fully waterproof, the PE Revo is the only one out of the two that has waterproof radio gear. If your wanting to run in water alot then I would look into the E-Revo.

The platinum is a full blown racer.
So i out of the box you wont be going in the snow with those tires it comes with.
but the lst2 is probably the best choice out of the 2 for bashing and snow driving.

I would stay with the E-revo, the nitros are going to be harder to maintain in the wet. The platium out of the box is closest to a water resistent nitro, it has water proof servos. You still need to keep your airfilter dry, make sure your reciever is dry, and keep your engine up to temp and tuned for the winter. And dont let any water into the gas tank when you refill.

Well i like my platinum more than any of my MT's right now. But for the bashing you wanna do, i'd be using my savage XL for that.

RE: REvo 3.3 platinum or losi lst2?
Heres an odd one, l voted losi, l dont own one, l own a revo, l have waterproofed it, what a nightmare, on that basis, looking at a pic of the losi, it will/would be so much easier to water proof it over a revo, and, revo has plastic shafts that dont like thick mud, there bulky and mine clogged up all the time in mud, the extra forces are enough to stop a revo in the mud 2 to 3 inches deep, that losi looks like its going straight through it, so l voted the losi, because you want to mud bash it, and l've found the revo doesnt really like mud, slippery clay it loves, sticky mud it hates, l have never owned a losi, but you cannot discredit them, they have an awsome reputation.l could have one next year maybe.
