Project Trophy Truck
Inspired by Mojavemonsters corr truck and my need to practice with my welder I decided to attempt a trophy truck.
I first sketched up the frame in cad. Then printed it out full scale. then started cutting and welding the many 3/16 diameter rod together. I am using old warhead parts for the drive train and front suspension. the truck will be 2 wheel drive with solid rear axle.
Tell me what you think.

RE: Project Trophy Truck
Are you going to use the cage to mount everything or you going to use a tub?
I have the rear axle pieces designed. I just need time to make them.

ALRIGHT!!!! THATS WHAT I'M TALKEN ABOUT!!!! I'm stoked to have inspired you.
I have one question / suggestion for you. What do you plan on using for a body? If you go lexan it may be easier to start with a body you like and build the cage to fit. Starting with the cage you may have problems finding a lexan to fit. But if you are planning on building your own panels then you are all good.
Also....How do you like those tires? I've been scoping those out for myself.
Keep it up...Totally awsome!!!!

RE: Project Trophy Truck
Funny you build this cause I was telling my dad yesterday I want to build a rock crawler out of the same tubing. But now that I saw this, I might have to build a Trophy truck. I have a Evader EXT two ESC's and three motors laying around. I may just have to start next weekend. You have inspired me
BTW, awesome looking frame. Cant wait to see the finished product. Theres nothing like doing custom fabrications. Only if I was rich ........[]
