Increased Wheel Travel?
Has anyone ever modified their MT to increase wheel travel? If you have, telll me how you did it and show some pics if you've got them. I've got a Dominator and I'd like to increase the downward travel so I'm looking for ideas...

Increased Wheel Travel?
i made my monster pirate higher, and it should work for the dom to. I cut the chassis a little next to were the bulkhead screws go in, i had to grind corners off the steering knuckles, and cut the rear bearing carriers some. I also had to get longer screws that hold the steering arms to the kuckles, and put 1/2inch spacers under the links. I also had to drill new shock mounts and get rid of the rear dogbones for cvds. f you just take the shocks off and let the suspension down, you can see where you need to cut things.

Thanks for the reply....
That pretty much what I wasn thinking about doing. Did you use shocks with more travel on them after you raised the MP? If so, where did you find them and who made them?
