Something Different "4-Stroke LST2"
Well guys Ive got an lst2 headed my way with an axial .32 and Ive decided to avoid a brushless conversion on this one. The axial will not be used on this. I am planning on running a Magnum XL-70FS- http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXHSL2&P=ML
Its one big engine and Im going to need some help on this build. I have been looking around for certain thing that would best suit it and I found these to be closest to what I want.
Ill need some very loose clutch springs or a clutch spring.
2 or 3 very heavy clutch shoes.
25t+ clutch bell.
Possibly a heavier, bigger flywheel.
Bigger mount "looking into the mgt 8.0 mount"
Im also looking into straight pipes aswell but dont know what exactly to get yet.
Also here are a few pics and a video of what it should be comparable to.. arty:

Ive mainly been into electrics. The fuel is fairly priced at about $9 a quart.

There is another thread in the Traxxas forums and a guy is doing a 4 stroke tmaxx. He did a lot of work getting the clutch ans finding a way to start it. You might be able to get a few ideas.

The #1 problem you are going to have is temps. Airplane engines have so much more airflow going over them; hence, they have much smaller cooling heads. On your Axial, the cooling head is huge compared to the cylinder. On an airplane engine, four stroke or not, the cooling head is just a few fins on top of the cylinder case. I would recommend running an electric fan at the very least on the engine to keep it cool at all times, if not a liquid radiator setup. Good luck! I'd love to see this thing run. Magnums are good engines.

I sure hope that .70 delivers enough power as a 6s brushless setup would. Anyways here are the pics... I slapped the MSR8's on it for looks.
