Default RE: RC TRACTOR PULLING??

Those Pictures where all from European websites. Also all the info I have found suggest that this a big thing in Europe and hasn't caught on in the US. The US seems to be big into electric and table top and indoor pulling. I am really interested and been doing alot of looking but have yet to find a US supplier or a European supplier that is affordable.

Well, this niche of R/C is somewhat obscure. At least the tractor part of it. I've seen a lot of these, there are some people here involved in it, I guess you just have to wait

I remember about 20 years ago when Tower Hobbies had a few pulling tractor/truck kits in their catalog...always wanted one back then.

Hi there,

I have some further links for you. Look at:

www.micropulling.nl
The NMPO is the Dutch micropulling organisation, they pull with gas, glow and turbine engines.

www.micropulling.com
The RCTP is the German micropulling organisation, they pull with gas, glow, turbine and electric engines/motors.

I have also a E-mail adres, from a guy in the Netherlands how builds every part you need to build a puller. Clutches, chassis, drivetrains, crossboxes, rims, and much more...

[email protected]

He builds very nice parts, from aluminium, he has is own cnc mill to do that all. Just be free to ask anything you need to build a tractorpuller. He has also a website but is at this moment down. He is changing this to make a online shop on it. I looking forward to see this and order online.

Look at the picture, i found it on one from the member pages, its a part builded by the above called guy its a complete drivetrain with crossbox to connect 2 time os 15 cc ducted fan engines. WOW

I don't think you're going to get many hits on a "RC Tractor Pulling Thread" in the RC Monster Truck forum...

It's amazing the intelliegence of some people...

Take the front shaft out, put small tires on the front and boom you got yourself a puller. You just can't see past your keyboard.

do you see a tractor pulling area? neither do i. where would you most likely put a tractor pulling topic? as stated above, all you need is two wheel drive and smaller tires.

Guys don't let some 12 y/o get you wound up. It is true that this trade is somewhat unpopular, but there is a wealth of information out there. I'd much rather prefer the "intelligence" of someone asking about something obscure in the R/C world to another which truck is better thread... Also who would guess that apart from dedicated tractor pullers, MTs are the next most popular platform for pulling events. Google is your friend here buddy, maybe some more guys here can help you out. These things are too cool[8D],

Tom.

Here is a video of a home made tractor. Looks like they atatched 2 OS Rotary engines together. It is just the start up. No pulling action.
