Depends on what you want to start back up with.... electiric or nitro....on or off road...
I recently started this insane hobby and I own a Traxxas Rustler VXL (electric). Get the right battery for this car and it goes about 70 mph
Try out the Revo 3.3 you've got nothing to lose (execpt money of course).

well, the revo is a a pretty good truck. it is a multipurpose truck for the track and the bashing crowd. it is pretty durable, not quite as much as a savage, or lst, but still not bad. it's pretty quick, but it's main feature is it's great handling. it has alot of race wins under it's belt. there's alot of things you can do to a revo to make it just what you want, there's even kits to move the fuel tank and radio box. it's a almost a big truggy, with a laydown inboard suspension. i have a bigblock in mine, and i love it. and you already know what the mgt 4.60 is all about.

If you are bashing then go for the MGT if you are racing then go Revo. If you do 50/50 then go Revo. The MGT is tough as nails and has the most reliable long lasting engine ever.

LST2 is by far the best of teh 3. Actually it may be the best truck out. I have an aftershock with lst2 upgrade and its awsome. I think its tougher than my savages and its definately faster and handles better.

lst2 is the hole package, roll bar upgrade the engine brace and aluminum clutch shoe & spring set and done. revo is fine but the lst2 just gives you so much.

RE: revo 3.3 or mgt 4.6
I personally would go with an MGT 8.0 or maybe an LST2. The Revo is a great truck, but I'm just not a Traxxas fan at ALL. If you started with an Associated I would stick with AE or Losi. The 8.0 has mores power than the LST2, but the LST2 is supposed to be a little tougher and a little bit better of a racer than the 8.0. Just my opinion though.
