What Desert Vehicle to get?
I work and live in the desert (Iraq[8D])3 months at the time, then I go home (Houston, Tx) for 2 weeks. I want a good Truck to have out here with me.
I have seen plenty of rides but cant seem to make my mind up. I am 29yrs old and love RC. I already have 2 on-road HPI cars (you can see pics in my profile), an RS4-3 18ss with an OS 18TZ and many upgrades and another 18ss with the stage-D drift kit and many mods done to that too[>:].
I have been looking at the Trophy 3.5, Savage's, Hellfire's, FireStorm's, Baja 5B, 5B SS, and the 5T. What best would work out here for me? reminder, the temperatures do reach 140F[]. Will Nitro engines be overheating? or is it too hot for Battery packs or can Brushless engines survive the Heat?
Thanx in advance guys, any help or recomindations will help[:-].

You would probably be better off with one of the 1/5 scale 2 cycle engines.........and put a cold towel on it when you run [&o]...........2 cycle would handle the heat much better but you would still have to be careful............besides I have heard our nitro fuel is hard to come by there []

the 5T or 5B would be best out thier...just decide wheather you want the truck or the buggy...I'd also suggest a set of Dirt Buster tires...

Baja sounds good. You know what the funny part is... the location where Im at, there is no sand, its just hard dirt that turn into moon-dust (fine, fine dust like baby powder) the Dirt Buster tires will problaly be no good here cus the dust doesnt get that thick.

Obviously you've never been to Mississippi...Thats where I learned the definition of "Southern Accent"...And by Texan Accent, I meant you don't talk like a Texan. You should come spend some time up-state for awhile when you get done...
