Default Best Overall Truck...

In your guys opinion whats the pretty much best over all monster truck glow and electric? For mostly back yard bashing, and sometime maybe going to the track, o yea, and by back yard bashing, i mean any where from hill climbing, to upscale jumps, to chillin with street tires, driving down the road, lol.... Well all with prices below $450.... I've had an old school T-Maxx (still do f/s!), but never a new one. And i have a e-maxx (f/s), that is tha bomb! but i wanna move on, lol. Right now, the Terra Crusher, and Fun Factor MT, got my eyes, thanks...

Out of the two I would choose the Terra Crusher then get different engine to make it a bit faster...

I would hav to imagine the TC would have more aftermarket support since CEN is fairly new

i would have to say a maxx 2.5 but since you already have a maxx i would probably say neither tc or cen and go with savage
(yeah i said it, buy a savage...)

bubbafien

you can find new maxxes for under 300 on e bay and check out the x factor too.

what about a brushless emaxx with twin B50 8S motors ..touches 50mph+ insane speeds . I think maxx suspension might have a hard time coping with it .

Don't forget about the Diff upgrades which is $300, driveline upgrade which is $100+, Tranny upgrade which is $100+, BL motors which is $700+, new chassis to handle power $150, and list goes on and on. He said below $450.

Savage seems like the best bang for buck because it can take a beating (Like that vid of the guy jumping the Savage on concrete 10+ ft and not breaking even after a couple spills), with a driveline that can handle even to the power of a RB Concept C5s. Maybe add some HD dogbones and a new clutch, aftermarket which is slowly growing, and not the same 'ole flat chassis T-Maxx look-a-like.

Note: This isn't mine.

The best truck at the track bone stock is a Dominator. Tmaxx and Dom are pretty close top speed but the Dominator is alot more durable out of the box. Also a ton of upgrades out there. Tmaxx is prolly more user friendly for beginners tho.

If ya want to go cheap get a Monster Pirate. Biggest differance between them is a bit smaller tires and lack of a slipper.

Alot of the new trucks are too heavy out of the box for racing. It can be done with anything but lighter weight is going to handle much better and have a bit more punch off the line. Although with 2.5 hp the differance isnt as big off the line as some would have you think.

Yeah, stock would be Dominator since it has it's Truggy design. Although, for a small tiny track (Like my LHS) the T-Maxx does pretty good since it's nimble. My friend has a JT Racing HRC Maxx that's almost done, and that should stir the competition up quite a bit.
