Must you use silicone oil to tune shocks?
I'm starting to play with the suspension on my first T-Maxx. Is it necessary to use silicone oil or will a good quality motor oil do the trick in the shocks. I'm thinking of going to 40wt.

Motor oil will not work You need to use shock oil.
Silicone shock oil is preferred because it doesn't change properties with temperature.
